The Greek Scientists Society, the largest global Hellenic network of Scientists & Technologists organises a 3-day course on “Introduction to the Principles and Practice of Clinical & Translational Research” that will be held on September 8-10th from 10:00 to 16:30, live at the Hellenic American Union (Massalias 22, 10680 Athens) and virtually at the GSS event platform.
Academic Directors: Professors George Chrousos and Charalambos Gogos and 16 more eminent Greek Academics and Researchers.
The course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the clinical research process and the various roles and responsibilities involved in conducting successful and ethical clinical research studies. The course is essential for those who are interested in pursuing a career in clinical research or for those who are already working in this field and wish to expand their knowledge and skills. This course will be of interest to Physicians, Scientists & Researchers, Medical and Dental students, Nurses, public health Professionals, and others conducting or planning a career in Clinical Research. It is also valuable for individuals who are involved in the administration or management of Clinical Research programs, including Research Coordinators, Data Managers, Quality Assurance Professionals, individuals who are involved in the regulation of Clinical Research, such as members of Institutional Review Boards (IRBs).
The course is designed to be accessible to individuals with varying levels of experience and expertise in clinical research, from those who are new to the field to experienced professionals who wish to refresh their knowledge and skills.
The course language is English and is open to everyone.
The participants will get a Certificate of Attendance and can continue tjheir studies to a Master’s degree at the Hellenic American University/College or the Hellenic Open University.
