New Publication: Advancing TDM in Chronic Inflammatory Diseases

We are thrilled to announce the publication of our latest paper: “Statement on education and scientific research in the field of therapeutic drug monitoring by the COST Action ENOTTA CA21147.”

As the use of therapeutic antibodies grows, the need for standardized education and robust scientific research in Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) has never been more critical. This paper, published in Pharmacia, outlines the strategic vision of the ENOTTA network to bridge knowledge gaps through:

  • Interdisciplinary Training: Establishing training schools and short-term scientific missions (STSM).

  • Comprehensive Research: Covering the full spectrum from manufacturing and quality assurance to clinical modeling and cost-effectiveness.

  • Personalized Medicine: Advancing patient stratification and real-time assay of biological concentrations to optimize treatment outcomes.

A huge thank you to the collaborative efforts of my co-authors: Guenka Petrova, Konstantin Tachkov, Georgios Kararigas, Mehmet Itik, Elena Drakalska, and Denis Mulleman.

Together, we are working toward a future where TDM is seamlessly integrated into best practices for chronic inflammatory disease management.
